Scott Smith has over 25 years of industry experience with enterprise software and information services companies in sales leadership and executive management positions. He joins AmpliFund from The Gordian Group, an operating company of Fortive Corporation. There, he led Gordian’s Enterprise Business Group. In this role he was responsible for the growth and delivery of Gordian’s integrated SaaS, data and professional services solutions to public sector, higher education, and healthcare clients.
Scott’s industry experience also includes serving as the President and General Manager of a multinational firm which delivers business information services. Additionally, he has held management positions with Software AG and Parametric Technology Corporation.
Scott was on active duty service with the United States Navy before making the transition to the commercial sector. He is a combat-decorated Naval Aviator. Scott holds Bachelor’s degrees in economics and English from Duke University and a Master’s of business administration from Old Dominion University.
In his role as AmpliFund Founder and President, Adam works closely with industry and government officials to facilitate the development of improved regulatory guidelines for managing grant funding, speaking frequently on the topic to audiences around the country. He also develops and manages key industry partners. As a result of his work, he was honored with the NGMA Impact Award/Private Sector for exceptional contributions to advancing the field of grant management.
Before founding AmpliFund, Adam was Chief Operating Officer (COO) for West Side Ecumenical Ministry (WSEM). As COO, Adam supervised all of WSEM’s programs and was responsible for system development and integration, quality control, resource development, new program initiatives, and community collaborations. Adam also served as interim CEO during a leadership change in 2004.
Adam earned a Master’s of social work and Master’s of nonprofit organizations from Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and the Weatherhead School of Management, respectively. He earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology from The College of Wooster. Adam serves on the boards of The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Reads.
Rachel Bennett is a passionate, make-it-happen revenue leader with deep SaaS experience who truly loves helping companies exceed their customers’ expectations while growing their footprint. As Head of Sales & Marketing at AmpliFund, Rachel is responsible for new business growth and oversees brand strategy, demand generation, sales development, and field sales.
Prior to joining AmpliFund, Rachel served in marketing and customer experience leadership roles for both B2B and B2G organizations. She most recently led an overhaul of the end-to-end customer journey for an online training company. From internal enablement to external response times, the reset yielded significant upticks in customer satisfaction and retention, as well as enabled new revenue growth.
Rachel holds a Bachelor’s in advertising from the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
Correen Brown is a seasoned financial and accounting executive with over 30 years’ of experience in leading the financial and operations for both start-up organizations as well as publicly held organizations. Correen leverages her wealth of knowledge in areas such as financial strategy and long-term budgetary oversight as well as strengths in operations and human resources to lead these areas at AmpliFund.
Prior to joining AmpliFund, Correen spent 14 years with Dun & Bradstreet in various financial and operational leadership roles, building her career around leading the integration and financial management of several acquisitions. Correen has also held Chief Financial Officer and Director-level roles with an EDI technology company as well as a sales and marketing software company.
Correen holds an accounting and finance degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and is a non-practicing CPA.
Jillian Neimeister is the Head of Customer Success for AmpliFund, overseeing the team responsible for intricately understanding our customer’s needs and configuring AmpliFund to meet them post-purchase. Jillian has managed over a hundred implementations for AmpliFund, including leading the state-wide implementation for the State of Illinois. Her tenacious spirit and unmatched planning capabilities allow her to lead the team to deliver a best-in-class level of service to our clients.
Prior to joining AmpliFund, Jillian sat in the seat of many of our clients as a grant writer and manager in nearly a decade of work in the nonprofit industry.
Jillian holds a Masters in Nonprofit Administration and Leadership degree from the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University and Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University.
Scott Weiss, Chief Technology Officer of AmpliFund, is a seasoned technology professional with over 20 years of experience building SaaS-based applications and managing technology organizations. He is responsible for leading AmpliFund’s web application development, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams. Scott also maintains oversight of the AmpliFund information security compliance program.
Prior to joining AmpliFund, Scott was Director of Technology and Founding Partner of Tenth Floor in Cleveland, Ohio. Scott provided strategic vision and technical leadership to the company as it grew from a local start-up to an award-winning national provider of web content management, e-commerce, and e-marketing solutions. Scott managed the development of BASE-10, Tenth Floor’s flagship SaaS-based product suite and oversaw the successful implementations of over 250 commercial and government clients onto the platform. Tenth Floor was eventually sold to Bridgeline Digital Inc.
Scott attended Case Western Reserve University, where he studied computer science and business management.
As Head of Product, Jason Yu currently leads the enhancement and delivery of the AmpliFund product functionally. Jason brings his comprehensive understanding of our customers’ needs, market trends, and regulatory drivers to drive the product roadmap to deliver a best-in-class user experience that meets our customer’s complex and ever-evolving needs.
Jason started his career in sales and initially joined AmpliFund in a sales role. After bringing several enterprise customers onboard and working alongside the delivery team to see them through a successful implementation, he learned the unique requirements that come along with grant management processes. After stepping away to launch an entrepreneurial venture that would allow him to lead both Sales and Product Development, he decided to rejoin AmpliFund as a Sales Engineer. The role allowed him to leverage his knowledge of the grant management landscape with a desire to understand our customers and prospects pain points in order to craft the right solutions for them. His success in that role positioned him to currently drive the organization’s Product strategy to the next level.
Jason has a Bachelor’s of psychology from The Ohio State University and also studied business administration.
